We are the Education Business Partnership (EBP) for Milton Keynes, a social enterprise constituted as a charity and a company limited by guarantee.

Our History
Jointly created in 1992 by the County Council and the Training & Enterprise Council (TEC), our registered company name is ‘Countec Ltd’.

Everyone is employable and enterprising.

Our Mission
To link educators and businesses in creative partnerships developing young people to be employable and enterprising.

Our Board
includes MK schools, MK employers, MK College, MK Economy & Learning Partnership, MK Council (principal member) and MK Chamber of Commerce (principal member).

Our Funders
We receive funding from the Learning & Skills Council (LSC), Milton Keynes Council, Milton Keynes schools and employers.

Our Staff
are experts in work-related learning and enterprise education, with backgrounds in education and local government, technology and commerce.

Our Link Partners
We are part of a consortium of Education Business Link Organisations locally, regionally and nationally, including Buckinghamshire EBP, Oxfordshire EBP, Young Enterprise, Industrial Trust, Construction Industry Training Board and businessdynamics.
