Alternative full-time education programme
for disaffected Year 11 (15-16 year old) students who are
excluded or at risk of exclusion from mainstream education.
Employers host extended work experience placements and/or
contribute to small group learning sessions in Employability,
Citizenship and Health education. |

Year 11 students who are excluded, at risk and/or disaffected. |
| Number of hours/days: |
5 days per week - term time only; Monday to Thursday – work
placement with visits from tutor and work-based assessor;
Friday – group sessions hosted by local employers. |

Students educated in the work place by Work Supervisors.
Employers as Educators deliver sessions. Key Skills Level
1 in IT, Communication, Application of Number, Working
