In groups of up to 30, students undertake
a series of training sessions to prepare them for their
first work experience placement, including required briefing
on Health & Safety and Child Protection issues. |

| Programme outline |
Students work in small teams through a series of workshops:
1) assessing skills and aptitudes for MK job market, 2)
developing self-presentation products (e.g. CV, application
form) and 3) techniques (e.g. phone, interview) and 4)
knowledge of Health & Safety and Welfare at work. Employers
specialize in leading or supporting one or more workshop.
Teams then compete to 'sell' an individual candidate for
a particular job. Students have fun and achieve certification. |
