A guest speaker from the world of work visits
classroom to answer general and specific questions about
his/her experience in a given vocational area. Sessions
can be tailored for close reference to a given curriculum
area. |

| Programme outline |
Guest is introduced by name only and students have 20
closed questions to identify his/her occupation. On hearing
more about the job, students compete to guess relevant
Key Skills and Personal Qualities in priority order. Students
then ask open questions. Guest then 'teaches' for 10-15
mins on a pre-set question relevant to the curriculum. |

Road Centre, Radcliffe, Sir Frank Markham, Walton, Young
