| Activity Title: Young Chamber |

In this pilot project, inspired by Isle of
Wight Young Chamber, and funded by South East Chambers
of Commerce and the Learning & Skills Council, an employer
visits a school to present a group of motivated students
with a real business problem, then hosts the students on
the employers premises to receive the students present
a solution. As the pilot develops, employers will also
support student representatives from MK secondary schools
in Young Chamber Council, a city-wide student council,
discussing and debating topical issues of importance to
business and government. |

Years 10-13. |
| Number of hours/days: |
90-minute meeting in school, followed by 90-minute meeting
on employer’s premises. |

In addition to the above, various training opportunities
will be provided. The work of the Young Chamber Council
is expected to be high-profile and present excellent networking
and personal development opportunities. |
