We are the Education Business Partnership (EBP) for Milton Keynes, a not for profit organisation on a mission to link schools and employers to provide quality work-related learning experiences for all young people. We are part of a national network of EBPs helping to prepare young people for working life.
We work closely with 12 secondary schools and 1000 employers and provide work experience placements for 3000 young people from MK schools each year. We have a strong network of contacts in education and business, and a long track record of quality delivery. Jointly created in 1992 by Buckinghamshire County Council and the Training & Enterprise Council (TEC) for Milton Keynes & North Buckinghamshire, we are a registered company limited by guarantee, ‘Countec Ltd’ (from Coun-TEC).
