Bushfield School Pupils Enjoy City Centre WorkOut!

On 14th October, Year 5 pupils from Bushfield Middle School travelled to Countec's office in the city centre for a WorkOut! session with visiting employers.
"I got given good answers, good advice about work," said Hina, one of the pupils. "There are so many jobs it's hard to decide which one to do when I am older."
"The jobs were cool and it was nice talking to them," said another pupil, Sabina.
Bushfield staff were impressed. "It was good for the pupils to be treated like an adult with respect," said Ms Odedra. "The session was thoroughly enjoyed by all the pupils and I would definitely encourage it to take place again."
The guest employees had a good time too. "I really enjoyed the hospitality and the children's questions," said Steve Wescott (pictured), Security Manager at thecentre:mk shopping centre.
Mark Fensome, a guest employee from Bedfordshire & Luton Fire & Rescue Service, said: "One of the great benefits of this kind of activity is that it gives the young people confidence to meet and communicate with other people."
