Bushfield School Welcomes Business Guests

On Tuesday 6th December, Bushfield School hosted three business guests.
76 Year 6 pupils participated in the event, which involved the pupils guessing their jobs and asking their own questions about what work is like. The aim was to benefit students by improving their career awareness and communication skills. The business guests benefited by finding out what today's young people think about work.
"A very well organised session, the children were all well behaved with interesting questions," said Lisa Illingworth from Mars Horsecare.
Teacher Mr Weston said: "I have really enjoyed the afternoon finding out about the careers of others and I know the childeren have too - thanks."
One student said: “I found out some really interesting things that I didn't know and I learnt a lot”.
