Curriculum
At Key Stage 4, iPEC aims to offer personalised learning activities to meet the individual learning needs, styles and interests of each individual learner. For each student a Personalised Learning Plan is drawn up and agreed by the student, parent and Personal Tutor.
All students are required to undertake 25 hours per week of planned learning activity. This will include courses from a broad curriculum offer, which is outlined in the Curriculum Policy (see Policies).
In most cases, iPEC students work towards a programme of Foundation Learning which includes:
- Functional Skills (Literacy, Numeracy and ICT)
- Personal & Social Development
- A vocational option, including vocational training and/or work experience.
