First Career WorkOut! Session For A4E

On 14th February, social purpose company A4E hosted the first ever Countec Career WorkOut! session for unemployed adults. Six guests from the world of work answered their questions about their experience of getting a job. This was an adaptation of Countec's normal CWO! session for teenagers.
Evaluating the session afterwards, all ten clients agreed or strongly agreed that they had enjoyed the session and nine said it had helped them learn about work.
"It was good to get everyone's opinion on where to look for work," said William Hawes, one of the clients.
"Meeting lots of new people gave me a confidence boost," said Mostafa Ahmed, another client.
All six guests agreed or strongly agreed that they had enjoyed the session and would be happy to do it again.
"It was good to meet people you don't normally meet," said Alan Bullen of Lynx Networks.
"It was good to meet lots of positive, committed people," said Rashma Toora of MK Council.
