Hanslope Primary School enjoys local employers

On Wednesday 14th December, Hanslope Primary School hosted four business guests.
63 Year 5 and 6 pupils participated in the event, which involved the pupils guessing their jobs and asking their own questions about what work is like. The aim was to benefit students by improving their career awareness and communication skills. The business guests benefited by finding out what today's young people think about work.
"It was a brilliant session and good for the teachers to be involved and ask questions too!" said Jane Houseago from Design Press. (pictured)
Teacher Chris Czornyj said: "It was a great afternoon. Very diverse occupations. All speakers were informative, but also able to communicate at the pupils level. Thank you."
One student said: “I enjoyed finding out what other people are inspired by”.
Another student said: "It gave me ideas about what I wanted to do"
