Investors In Education Awards 2011

The Investors In Education award ceremony is Countec's 'end of year bash' - a chance to invite lots of succesful students and interested employers to help us celebrate the acheivements of the past 12 months. On the 19th of July 2011 the Ramada Encore hotel played host to this popular occasion.

The event is a showcase for the most sucessful students on Countec programmes and at the same time is a chance for us to say a huge thank you to at least some of the local employers who work with local young people throughout the academic year. In 2011 there were a 10 awards covering a mixture of students, employers and individuals.  We also heard from Anne Sylvester of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office , FCO Services on Apprenticeships, David Harper, Head Teacher of Heronsgate on engagement with Primary schools and four students from Radcliffe on the impact of Countec's WorkOut! service. Most award nominees and winners managed to squeeze into the photograph above!

Awarded to the employer who has made the greatest contribution to Primary WorkOut! sessions
