I joined iPEC in February 2011 as a Learning Mentor to work with teenagers in an alternative education provision. My main responsibility is to support the Personal Tutor in delivering Personal Learning Plans to key stage 4 students, especially through one to one mentoring focused on functional skills (Literacy and Numeracy) I also assist my personal tutor to set up and support students with work experience placements. It’s challenging and fun.
