I have recently joined Countec as Events Co-ordinator and my role involves coordinating all the many Work related learning and enterprise events that we run in schools throughout Milton Keynes.
Employers are always asking for students to have better employability skills when they leave school. These events are invaluable in giving students and employers the opportunity to mix and to teach the students about the employability skills which are valued by employers once they enter the world of work.
The best part of my job is when an event runs successfully and we get fantastic feedback from the students, teachers and employers as to how much they have all benefited from taking part.
