Host a 14-16 year old on a work experience placement, either 2-week block or extended (1-2 days per week) |
Check Health and Safety arrangements and advise on suitable activities for duration of placement |
| GUEST SPEAKERS |
Visit a primary or secondary classroom to talk about your job(s) or aspect of your job (1-2 hours) |
Provide training and support as appropriate. |
| BUSINESS MENTORS |
Meet one-to-one with a school student to talk about life challenges, school work and future prospects |
Organise CRB check and provide 2-hour training |
| BUSINESS AMBASSADORS |
Take part with other BAs in a one-day Enterprise challenge event in school offering advice to groups of students |
Provide 1-hour training before and feedback after the event. |
| READING & NUMBER PARTNERS |
Visit a primary school once a week in your lunch hour for 10 weeks and either read books or play number games with pupils aged 7-11 |
Provide 1hr training, ongoing support plus CRB checks where necessary |

Sponsor an award (£500) at our annual ’Investors in Education’ awards event |
