iPEC KS4 Learning Mentor
I joined iPEC in September 2009 as a volunteer and was recruited as a Learning Mentor by January 2010 to work with teenagers in an alternative education provision. My main responsibility is to support the Personal Tutor (Bev Wise) in delivering Personal Learning Plans to key stage 4 students and I am also responsible for all new student’s induction periods. I find my job role very challenging yet rewarding as we get to see our students achieve academically and mature into responsible adults.
