Student Dylan Praised For Employability

As well as two-week work experiences, Countec also measures the employability of students on extended placements.
Student Dylan Crabbe from The Gatehouse School has shown high level employability skills on his supported work experience placement as Outreach Worker and General Assistant at Campbell Park Parish Council. Staff there have had many good things to say about him.
"It has been really good," said Dylan (pictured centre right). "The parish have given me a work experience I will never forget."
"Dylan has really improved his employability skills on this placement," said Jennifer Tosh, Countec's Supported Placements Officer.
The team at Campbell Park Parish Council were very positive about Dylan:
"From the moment he arrived early on his first day, he was committed to working with us," said Elaine Webb, PA/Administration Officer. "Nothing was too much trouble for him to do. He was always polite, thoughtful and caring. He used his initiative and fitted in very well with our small team."
Mitch Mitchener, Environment Officer, said: "Dylan is an engaging young man who is willing to learn and a pleasure to spend time with. He has even taught me a few things!"
"He was a joy to work with," said John McLinton, Environment Officer, "and on the rare occasions when his enthusiasm and sense of humour ran away with him, he listened and took on board the advice he was given."
"He was a breath of fresh air," said Tracy Waistnedge, Housekeeping.
