Success
Completing a successful work placement will set you up well for future employment. But showing good employability skills is only one part of it. It is also important to keep a record of your success in work.
Most employers won't employ someone without work experience. They want to see evidence of your work experience. This is usually in the form of a report or reference letter written by a previous employer.
At the end of your work experience placement, your employer should fill in a yellow Employer's Report. This will show which employability skills you have shown and any other personal comments from the employer to say how well you have done it.
Why not talk with your employer at the start about which skills you want to show and what kind of Employer's Report you want as a record of your success.
Good luck.
