Support & Safety

We support employers by meeting with them to:

identify and evaluate benefits
reduce or remove barriers
provide a single point of contact, minimising multiple calls from different institutions
minimise bureaucracy
guide employers who, although familiar with their responsibilities for the health and safety of their own employees and members of the public, may be wary of the health and safety, child protection and insurance implications associated with work-related learning for young people
promote best practice.

Our pledge

We support our business partners with:

regular updates on education policy and practices
personal briefing on tasks agreed and students attending
health & safety risk assessment, insurance advice and CRB vetting, as required
monitoring and evaluation of work done with young people.
